ENGR. OYEWALE OLATUNJI JOSEPH – Head, Post Construction Audit Department – Lagos State Government
An experienced Engineer was born on the 6th June, 1966 in Lagos. He started his Primary Education at Lara Day Nursery/Primary School, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Lagos (1975-1979) and His Secondary Education at Eko Boys High School, Mushin, Lagos (1979-1984). He had National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos (1985). He also attended the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu where he bagged BSC in Civil Engineering (1990) and an MSC in Civil Engineering from University of Lagos (1995).
He started his civil service carrier at Lagos State Local Government Service Commission on the 10th March, 1995 on grade level 09 (Executive Engineer I) and later posted to Ikorodu Local Government as the Area Engineer for Irepodun Area Office which covers the present Imota LCDA, Ijede LCDA, Ikorodu North LCDA, and Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDA.
On September 1999, he was redeployed to Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, where he designed and supervised a lot of buildings, roads, drainages and culverts. He was also posted to Amuwo Odofin Local Government as Council Engineer.
Engr. Oyewale Olatunji Joseph was absorbed into the mainstream of Lagos State as Assistant Chief Engineer (Civil) on Grade Level 13 where he assumed duty in the state civil service and later the Lagos State Civil Service Commission.
He was later deployed to Lagos State Ministry of the Environment (Office of Drainage Services) on the 25th August, 2008 where he rose to Grade Level 16, Deputy Director (Civil) as coordinator covering, Lagos Mainland, Mushin, Surulere and Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Areas.
He is currently the Head, Post Construction Audit, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA).
